Meghan O'Donnell, Founder and CEO

Meghan O'Donnell is a sports marketing and communications professional with experience working for ESPN's Statistics and Information Group, College GameDay, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Fueled by her passion for research and a desire to shine a light on the intangibles teams look for in the draft process, she launched Character Plus Consulting in 2022 as a way to bring character analytics to the forefront of pre-draft evaluations. In 2023, the company launched CPC Agency to provide one-on-one support to fill athletes' unmet needs.
From East Fallowfield, Pennsylvania, Meghan attended the University of Delaware, earning degrees in sport management (B.S.) and mass communications (B.A.). After interning with the Stats and Info Group (SIG) during the summer before her senior year and traveling as a digital content producer for ESPN's College GameDay that fall, Meghan earned a full-time position and returned to SIG as a production researcher after graduation. In that role, she conceptualized and produced original, statistical-driven content designed to provide context to the biggest storylines in sports media. Specializing in college football, she served as the on-site researcher for the 2018 National Championship Game between Alabama and Georgia. While with ESPN, Meghan obtained her master's degree in sport business with Drexel University and completed her thesis, "Breaking up is hard to do: Why the Power 5 should consider splitting from the rest of the FBS and the ramifications of such a divide".
With the Philadelphia Eagles, Meghan held a dual role, working in personnel and player development, while also overseeing all marketing and communications efforts for the team's charity. On the front office side, Meghan helped develop a new segment of player research focused on character analytics. For the Eagles Autism Foundation, she crafted the organization's communications strategy, spearheaded its social media efforts, and planned an executed fundraising events such as the team's annual charity auction.
An adjunct professor at Widener University, Meghan teaches Event Planning and Sport Marketing. In addition to her work with students, she looks to mentor young professionals in the industry, both formally through the University of Delaware's Mentor Collective, and through her own personal contacts.
Samantha Ward, Co-Founder

Samantha Ward is a sports marketing and social media professional with experience working for espnW, College GameDay, and the Boston Red Sox. After honing her skills for seven years in the sports industry, she launched her own marketing consulting agency, Local Social, where she provided personalized support to growing businesses and foundations. Drawing on that expertise, she now advises CPC clients on everything from social media management to personal brand development.
From Chapel Hill, Samantha attended the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill where
she earned her degree in broadcast journalism. During the summer before her senior year, she interned with espnW, the women's sports-focused arm of the Worldwide Leader. That fall, she traveled the country as a digital content producer with ESPN's College GameDay, where she had worked with some of the most prominent names in college football. Following graduation, Samantha served as the TV reporter and in-game host for the Salem Red Sox, the Single-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Shortly thereafter, she was elevated to the majors, where she oversaw the Red Sox's digital and social media platforms.
Most recently, Samantha launched her company Local Social, providing one-on-one support for local businesses and charities. In that role, she produced and implemented social media and marketing strategies specifically tailored to clients' goals, while helping them identify their audience and target markets. An expert in content creation and social media management, she brings her knowledge of personal brand development to CPC clients.
